A good question that will never be answered because Bill Maher is a good liberal snarkmaster and that just makes it different...
No wait, it's because Maher is a comedian who engages in political commentary and Limbaugh is a political commentator who sometimes engages in comedy. Yeah, that's it. That should be enough to roll out the old "false equivalence" response when faced with a blatant liberal hypocrisy.
More:
On Monday, James Protzman, a liberal blogger for BlueNC.org, spoke out about UNC's association with Rush Radio and emailed UNC Chancellor Holden Thorp asking him to rethink the relationship.
"It doesn't make a lot of sense for the flagship university of North Carolina to be associating itself with the kinds of things we hear on Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh," Protzman said.
I don't suppose that same standard applies to HBO. This is CLASSIC, textbook liberal hypocrisy and phony outrage. If they really cared about misogyny to this level, they would apply their standards and outrage evenly regardless of ideology.
UPDATE: Some liberals at Daily Kos aren't buying the "false equivalence" argument and are calling out their fellow Lefties:
"If you think that what Bill did to Sarah Palin was no where near as bad as what Rush did to Sandra than I have to ask if you would still say that if Bill had said it to Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Democratic primaries? If Bill had called Hillary a twat and a cunt he wouldn't be forgiven by ANYONE on the left for the rest of his LIFE...
...If we don't call out Bill we are hypocrites for demanding that the right call out Rush. That is just a fact. We have NO moral high ground if we rationalize away our responsibility to clean our own house. We only have ANY moral high ground because so many of us already called out Bill for this when it happened. But we didn't demand that our party leaders (who frequent Bill's show) call out Bill for this. We are TOTALLY right to condemn Rush and defend Sandra, but we are hypocrites for demanding that the right call out Rush until we do the same with Bill. "
"My guess is that UNC would find a suitable "out" if WRDU changed its format and line-up to become All-Al-Jazeera-All-the-Time 106.1, neu?"
You didn't answer the question.
As usual.

"Let's not forget that Flukes entire testimony was a lie."
Let's also not forget what Fluke wrote in the Georgetown Law Review last year:
"Transgender persons wishing to undergo the gender reassignment process frequently face heterosexist employer health insurance policies that label the surgery as cosmetic or medically unnecessary and therefore uncovered."
From The College Politico:
"The argument made in this article edited by Sandra Fluke and Karen Hu is quite clear. 'Gender reassignment' is a medically necessary set of procedures that must be covered under employee provided health insurance policies. If it is not covered by those policies that is tantamount to discrimination and legal action should be taken against the employer.
So, as you can see, Sandra Fluke is not what she is being sold as. Instead she is a liberal activist pushing some rather radical ideas. Keep that in mind as the left holds her up in the spotlight."

Sam:
This must be some kind of conservative supply-side math where 46 vile comments equals 2 vile comments.
Keep spinning, be happy.

Why would he want to emulate your bad habit?
