That whole "Occupy" thing seems to have faded. Well at least what little credibility they had in the first place has faded. Events have revealed what I said all along: this is the same old tired group of Left wing activists we've always known. The only time you hear about them now is when one of their flock gets arrested.
I'm sure that the number of arrests of Occupiers vs. Tea Partiers isn't even close, but the media just can't adopt that lawless and violent theme when it comes to liberal activists.
But we know. America knows.
SOPA/PIPA opponents showed how to occupy. 14 million protesters shut down phone lines and internet at Congess. A lack of consensus(duh) was reached by the ruling class in hours. Before their digits are singed in the next power grab they will wet their index finger in a fellow kleptocrat's orifice and check the wind before giving the useful idiots the middle finger.

Sometimes we want to join them. I am a customer and stockholder of both AT&T and Duke Energy. For some of the problems I have had with them, the people at the bottom of the contact pile cannot or will not help. The people at the top are unreachable. In desperation, one is tempted to try the tactics of Occupy. But I lack the available time and energy.

When someone reaches me at my home, they have contacted the highest Earthly authority for doing business. Decisions, policy, responsibility, all with one person. But the corporate world isolates and insulates themselves from such contact. Frustrating at times.

I should have said the highest Earthly authority at that address.

I think being tempted by the unlawful tactics of OWS might be a stretch. Some of those groups have turned violent and destructive. For the most part, what they have done is cost cities millions of dollars in law enforcement expense that they do not have. It is fairly clear that OWS is little more than for soldiers of the Democrat party. We are going to see more of these people when we get into the serious portion of the campaign. You will not see them demonstrating against Obama.

"You will not see them demonstrating against Obama."
I'm not so sure about that, Stormy. Many of these "people" think Obama is not radical enough for him.
It will be interesting to see what happens at the Obamapalooza later this year in Charlotte. There's a possibility of a repeat of Chicago, 1968. The only difference would be that Nixon won't by the one to reap the benefit.

"Him" should be "them".

I think that the OWS will be causing trouble at Charlotte. But, you have to remember that this group was begun by socialists and is supported behind the scenes by leftist groups and unions. All of these groups are Obama supporters. Rank and file OWS may not be in the tank for Obama, but the leaders sure are. This group has not protested Democrat funders. You will not see them protesting Buffett or Corzine. But, look for them in Tampa and Charlotte this summer. Bottom Up, Top Down, Inside Out. Van Jones predicted it.
